“Youth ministry is the response of the Christian community to the needs of young people and the sharing of the unique gifts of youth with the larger community.”
- Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry 1997 by the USCCB
LifeTeen for our Youth in grades 6-12 meets on Sundays, from 4:00-5:30, in the Sacred Heart Center. LifeTeen is a Eucharist centered movement within the Catholic Church, which leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, LifeTeen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church. We hope that all Youth, in grades 6-12, in our parish will join this exciting movement!
If you are interested in lectoring, ushering, or bearing gifts at one of our youth masses, please contact one of your youth leaders. We need your help! Please come be a part of YOUR Youth Ministry!
