On Thursday, December 19TH from 7-8:30 p.m. – the Music & Fine Arts Ministry of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral will offer “Caroling on Cathedral Square.” All are invited to come to the front of the Cathedral and Rectory – located at 870 Howard Avenue and we will have this large space to join together in singing Christmas Carols and other Christmas music favorites. The Nativity BVM Cathedral Men’s Club will have hot chocolate, cookies, and electric candles to offer the carolers for a donation. Come – join in this annual holiday tradition at the Cathedral! This year’s Concert will be presented in the Cathedral at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29th and will feature music of Nostalgia and Patriotism in celebration of our national Independence Day and in “Thanksgiving” for our Veterans. Additionally, a special Master Work – Randall Thompson’s “Testament of Freedom” will be featured. This composition is a musical setting of four of the Letters by Thomas Jefferson regarding America’s quest for Independence.
