GLORIA IN EXCELSIS COMMUNITY CHOIR—The Community Choral program – “Gloria In Excelsis,” offered by the Music & Fine Arts Ministries of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral, is beginning its second semester rehearsal and concert schedule for the 2021 – 2022 performance season. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. on the stage in the Great Hall in the Academy of the Sacred Heart Building directly behind the Cathedral located at 870 Howard Avenue in downtown Biloxi. We invite any interested vocalist to join us! This semester we will be preparing our “Music of Holy Week” Concert Service, our annual Patriotic Concert, and Gabriel Faure’s “Cantique” and “Requiem” for a special All Saints Day program for the Fall. MUSIC MINISTRY CONTRIBUTIONS—Contributions to the Music and Fine Arts Ministries programming can be made by marking your contribution specifically for that purpose and giving your gift to Terry Maddox, our Music Minister, or by sending your contribution to the Rectory to Mr. Maddox’s attention. Such contributions will aid in the financing of guest musicians for Christmas Eve Programming and our new Liturgical Banner Fine Arts Program. Contact Mr. Maddox for more details.
