A LOOK AT OUR STAINED GLASS WINDOWS—As part of the 175th Anniversary Year, the sixth look at our stained-glass windows will take place on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Church.  We will examine the meaning of Window #6, the Wedding at Cana.  Fr. Dennis will give a description of the symbolism and liturgical significance contained in the window; Edmond Boudreaux will provide a look at the window's donor, Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Entringer.  Please join us for this one-hour presentation.

DIOCESE CHORAL SOCIETY—The Diocese Choral Society rehearses every Tuesday evening starting at 7:00 p.m.  This is a new Music Ministry – Fine Arts Offering.  Read more in Terry's letter!  If you are interested in this or any of the possible Music and Fine Arts Ministries of the Cathedral, please feel free to contact Terry Maddox.  We are still seeking sponsors for our Concert Series that currently has events scheduled through December 2018. MUSIC & FINE ARTS MINISTRIES CONCERT SERIES—As a part of the Magnolia Concert Society offerings – “The Greatness of America” Patriotic Concert will be held Saturday, June 30th – 5:30p.m.  Concerts are free and open to the public.  Please invite your friends and join us for these beautiful celebrations of music and song!

NATIVITY SANCTUARY CHOIR—Rehearsals are held on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. Please join us and lend your voice in joyful praise of God!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL—Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral will hold their 3rd Annual "Fun in the Son" Vacation Bible School for children that are currently in grades K–5, June 25–29, 2018, from 9:00 a.m.–noon daily. The cost is $30 and it includes a t-shirt, daily snack & activities. Youth in grades 6–12 and adults are welcome to join us as a volunteer for the week. NATIVITY YOUTH MINISTRY FUND RAISER—Fr. Colten will lead 23 youth and adults on a pilgrimage July 6- 8, 2018.  They will visit The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, AL while in route to attend the Stubenville Atlanta youth conference in Duluth, Georgia.  If able, please dine-in or carry-out dinner, 5:00-9:00 p.m. @ Waffle House (Cedar Lake Exit) on one or more of the following nights:  June 22 (Fri) or June 25 (Monday).  The group earns 20% of proceeds earned those nights.  You may also order a famous Waffle House pie (Apple, Chocolate, or Pecan).  Price $10; the group earns 50%.  Contact Kristy Arguelles (nativityyouthministrybiloxi@gmail.com or 324-9934) or a Youth Ministry Member to place an order.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH THE FLAG & POT LUCK—The celebration continues with a potluck supper and “Patriotic” Concert planned for Saturday, June 30th at 5:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Center.  Come share in the community meal and listen and sing many of our country’s most cherished songs as we celebrate 175 years of Nativity BVM Cathedral’s life and ministry and 242 years of our “Great County’s” history and heritage.  Share in this event with a 35–40 voiced Massed Choir as we remember our Men & Women who serve and have served—who make our country the “Greatest Nation” in the world.  Mark your calendars and plan to be a part now!  The Cathedral Parish will provide fried chicken. To help you know what you can bring, we have broken it down by last name: A–I: Potato Salad, Baked Beans; J–R: Pasta Salad, Coleslaw; S-Z: Cakes, Cookies.  Also, we have a sign-up sheet in the back of the Cathedral.  Please let us know how many in your family will attend.  This will help us to know how much chicken to order.  We will have this sheet in the Cathedral until June 30th.  Please only sign once.  Thank you. 

REVEALED!—Nativity Youth have the opportunity to participate in a life-changing event this summer!  Fr.
